WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE The Rector, Curate and people of Limerick City Parish, who worship at St. Michael's Church, Pery Square, would like to welcome you to our website. St Michael's Church is located a short distance from the City centre, in the heart of Georgian Limerick. While it is an early Victorian building, it was designed to enhance its classical Georgian setting and is the focal point at the southern end of Pery square. It is situated beside the Peoples Municipal Park which with its hundred year old trees, manicured lawns and elegant monument enhance the length of the East side of the square. While Tontine Terrace, the finest example of Georgian architecture in Limerick, is situated on the west side of Pery square. St. Michael's is the imposing centre piece to these elegant architectural features. |
